Deuteronomy 28:13

And the LORD will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.

There is no way around the fact that many of God's promises are contingent on our TRUST and OBEDIENCE. But after all, why would we want to do anything else, right? HE IS GOD!

John 14:15

If you love Me, keep My commandments.

OBEDIENCE will FLOW from a heart that truly understands WHO God is and the MAGNITUDE of what He has done for us through Jesus!
